Updates With Mitch and Mark

  • The first RAAF ISR Triton is currently undergoing testing out of Tindal, NT. It will likely conduct missions for Australia over the South China 
  • First RAAF ISR MC-55A Peregrine due to be delivered to Edinburgh Air Force Base (South Australia) shortly before 3 more are due by 2027
  • USAF recently announced that allied Wedgetails will be controlling UCAVs
  • A RAAF Wedgetail is currently undergoing refueling testing in the Mojave Desert in preperation for USAF E-7s needing to be refuled by KC-46s after delivery
  • USAF and RAF E-7s crews are currently embedded with RAAF in preperation for delivery of their aircraft as they have only been using outdated E-3 AWACS
  • NG announced they will produce upgrade packs for our and other F-35s to bring them up to near 6th Gen standard
  • RNZAF and the New Zealand government has annouced that defence spending will be doubled, which will more than likely mean increased training and operations with Australia (e.g. RNZAF P8 was hunting a submarnie off the coast of WA near Rottnest Island in the recent weeks)
