On the 1st of May, 2025, Qantas launched directed serivces from Melbourne to Honolulu. These serivces will operate on Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday's departing Melbourne Airport at 17:05 local time and arriving into Honolulu, over 10 hours later. The aircraft will land back at Melbourne Airport just shy of 24 hours later, at 16:55 local time. The route will be operated using Qantas's larger A330-300 series, which are used to operate more international sectors, and aircraft are designed to carry 297 people in a two class configuration (28 Buiness Class Seats, 269 Economy Class Seats)
